The year is quickly coming to a close. We have a few months left, but it is going by very fast. That can only mean one thing, we need to listen to more music.
Get all that you can before you have to take a break for the end of year stuff that we all get caught up in. I'm always saying that sometimes life gets in the way, but music can always be there for us. As a crutch or an escape, a mood changer or just something we use to get crazy!
Take a chance at some new music from an artist or a band that you haven't heard of and enjoy the talents of the worlds unsung musicians. I do it all the time with Yellow Room Radio, maybe that's why I am the way I am. Crazy...but lovable.
Have a great month. Pass it on,
G

Janine Wilson
Janine Wilson's name carries with it certain expectations. A big voice with a stage presence to match it. Award-winning songs full of love, heartache, and mischief. A command of vocal styles ranging from blues to Americana roots rock. And while those expectations will not go unfulfilled with her next album, don't let the familiar face on the cover fool you.
It's time to wake up to a very different Janine Wilson.
From Tokyo, Japan, this band brings us a blend of everything Yellow Room. Indie / psychedelic / rock and a good groove.
Check them out and pass it along. Tell them you found them in the Yellow Room!
Stevie Hawkins
While Stevie Hawkins has become noted for his live performances, his debut album "Georgia Jam" features some of the best live jams of Southern Rock, his studio album "High Time" was one of really showcasing Stevie's vocal and drumming talent as it fused rock, blues, and even a little jazz into a soulful mix. Now comes "What the Funk?", a natural progression for Stevie Hawkins who has a perfect soul/blues voice and with The Combined vocal talents of Soul Diva's Jocelyn Brown and Sista Monica, What The Funk makes for some of the best combinations in soul/funk history.
